When I started this project I imagined a massive, awesome, interconnected universe with not just it's own awesome comics, but website and forums and events and all kinds of cool stuff, maybe even animations. I thought I had a cool idea everyone everyone would be proud to contribute too and boy was I dreaming lol. As I completed my course I saw the complications with this, mainly just time, effort and money. Even though I can design and code the front end of a website, doing it all by myself is beyond me, as are animations. Than I came to DA and saw that other people were making there crossover's already! (besides Lonefirewarrior) Wow, awesome I thought, but why would they need me when I have nothing? Haha I figured I could still make the comic but the other stuff that comes with it is still more than one man can handle lol

This journal serves two purposes, the first is just letting you all know that if you see something that feels or looks out of whack, let me know about it. As simply one man I cannot know everything there is to know about all the different universe's I'm combining, even the ones that are my favourite and I read books about (Halo, Mass Effect and Star Wars would have to be my top three, as I've read books from all the different series)

I try to do stuff to stay on top of things, like how I watched a whole let's play of Dead Space #1 just to get the story and feel of the character before putting him in, I've watch some crysis and metroid let's plays, I also bought and played vanquish on my old crappy 360 which I haven't played in years haha

I've watched let's plays, read comics and bought games to play, researched wiki's and spacebattles.com but everyone should know that amalgamating all of this takes up all of my time, with the 3D modelling and rendering alone, plus I have to continue upping my skills because there's always something new to learn, watching tutorials and creating stuff, then there's the admin work

thank god one of my friends took over my tumblr and has started posting there for me once a day, my FB page is still un-maned because my DeviantArt page has been blowing up lately (over 200 watchers btw, THANK you guys so much!) and with so many comments, messages, and of course looking at other peoples artwork. A dedicated fan has been helping with group submissions which takes some of the load off but it's still all too much as I'm beginning to realise.

3D modelling + tutorials/practice + admin + research = fucking kill me and all my actual free time :P

The second purpose of this journal is to say that I can't really do all of this on my own I don't think. When I started I thought about it being a community thing and realised that I needed a community first, I've been growing but I'm not sure how to approach asking for help and if I'm at the stage of popularity where I can... and what will other crossover artists think if I was to say to them "hey wanna help me work on my project!?"

If it were me I'd probably say "umm... no, I wanna work on mine..."

What can be done huh? Hahaha. Leave your thoughts below, maybe the best way to go is somehow combining all of our different projects, making all artists, including me, make sacrifices on how we want to do our own work and then compromising to create a world all of us love, maybe start a crossover guild or something? Idk.

Here all the links to the things I use if you're interested in supporting me in other areas :)

A Crossover Guild would be awesome indeed. :D

If I can I'll help out as much as possible but not only due to my own crossover project there's also life as well. XP I'll be having to get a job sometime later this year which I can say I'm not looking forward to. XD So combine that along with the little time I seem to find myself with when making my own crossovers it's gonna be tough.

But the job thing isn't happening for a few months so I can help if I'm able to. ^_^

Also don't worry I'm sure if you hang in there long enough that community of yours will happen. :D
