The Hidden Menace
In the vast expanse of deep space, young billionaire heir Plato van der Kant, escorted by his trusted android ISAAC and protected by the famous Sparta Unit, an elite group of warriors, searches for the mysterious planet where the key to Plato’s future resides. Well, that WAS Aegis VII....
Rhodey got a face texture upgrade for those of you who didn't know, this is the first time you've been able to see it clearly though
it honestly doesn't look too good because I'm still using her cartoonish hair, eyebrows and eyes, but I simply haven't been able to afford the time to learn how to do those realistically and upgrade the rest of her face, the body looks good though imo. It took me ages to learn how to map real skin textures.
Part of the problem was that the African American Woman I used as the face texture didn't match Rhodey's face structure, because when you make these models you usually model them after someone real and then extract the texture from that face so it matches up really well. The adjustments took me forever to fix.
Anyway, obligatory copypasta---
I made all the environments/structures (in selected panels only for this page, you should be able to tell which) and effects myself, characters in these scenes were not modelled by me I just rigged, posed and rendered them. Also modified them a little bit. The reason I mix modelling and texturing myself with using other peoples models, instead of just sticking to one or the other is because modelling everything myself would be inefficient and take too long, and I don't use third party stuff only because I wouldn't find everything I needed.

Ah so good that they don't have to through that brand of hell on the Ishimura for none were at all ready for it being both a physical and psychological danger of extreme conditions.
